Digital Accessibility Audit & Remediation StrategyAccessibility Lead
Inherited an accessibility program stalled after a prior audit produced thousands of Jira tickets with no actionable path to remediation. Reframed the effort around systemic impact, reducing a 7,000+ page site to the 160 highest-traffic pages and 29 shared templates needed for meaningful coverage.
Built four reusable applications for audit collection, aggregation, deduplication, and analytics, turning thousands of findings into structured data for identifying systemic issues and prioritizing remediation.
Built a repeatable manual accessibility testing system by automating routine checks, defining clear testing protocols, and creating a workflow a team member could execute consistently under my direction.
Developed a three-phase strategy—shared components, templates, then isolated issues—directing engineering toward fixes with the greatest system-wide impact.
Brought client and engineering teams around a shared approach, then transferred the tooling, documentation, and training needed to continue remediation independently.
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE — OFFICE OF THE CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
2023–2025
Enterprise Employee Services Platform & Design SystemDesign Lead
Established the Office of the Chief Information Officer’s product design foundation: shared components, interaction patterns, accessibility standards, and implementation guidance for applications, websites, and internal tools.
Created a common design language across product and engineering while accommodating the independent technical environments of domain-separated DOJ organizations.
Architected the foundation for reuse, enabling teams to clone and adapt it to independent products rather than repeatedly starting from scratch.
Presented design direction and recommendations directly to Department of Justice executive leadership, including the Chief Information Officer, communicating complex product and technical decisions at the executive level.
Applied the system as design lead for Time to Hire, simplifying a complex HR process through integrations, intelligent fields, and automated document generation while partnering with engineering through implementation and QA.
DOJ Special Commendation — Excellence in Product Work
